An article published by Variety’s online edition highlights Romania’s ability to attract “resourceful producers in need of dramatic backdrops and affordable crews.” Some recent shoots include MPCA projects “William & Kate: A Royal Love Story” and “One in the Chamber” or “Six Bullets.”

The article notes that this is done without the aid of tax incentives or rebates but with the help of international co-production pacts. International producers can partner with Euro projects to take advantage of the local film financing if they meet criteria for percentages of crew or cultural content.
