GebrAfA¼der Weiss plans to invest EUR 3 million in logistics transportation center in Sibiu

The logistics center will be built on 27,000 sqm with construction set to begin within two months. The company's representatives expect the new terminal to be delivered by the end of Q1 of 2010. When completed, the site will provide up to 6,000 sqm of space for logistics services and between 1,500 sqm and 3,000 sqm of space designed for cross-docking transport operations. Initially, according to the master plan, the center will deliver about 200 sqm of office space.
So far, GW has invested over EUR 15 million in Romania, according to the data provided by the company, which estimates a local turnover exceeding EUR 15 million in 2009. The Austrian operator entered on the Romanian market in 2001, by acquiring the Bucharest-based logistics company Cargolog, established in 1994 on the local market.
