Bulgarian resorts will welcome some 10,000 – 11,000 foreign tourists during the Easter holiday, 60 percent of which will be Romanians, informs novinite.com. Greek, Serbian and Macedonian tourists are also expected in large numbers.

According to the Union of Hotel Owners from Sunny Beach, cited by the Bulgarian news agency, Romanians will be the largest group of foreign tourists in the Black Sea resort this Easter, followed by groups from Serbia and Macedonia. While Romanians choose the seaside resorts, Greek tourists prefer spa resorts like Velingrad and Sandanski.

Hotel owners from the northern Black Sea resort of Golden Sands say they have reported an increase in bookings made by Bulgarians, over the last few days, adding that the hike comes from lower prices and better quality of Bulgarian resorts as compared to Romanian ones, informs novinite.com.
