Rehab clinic launches addiction awareness posters campaign in Romanian

Scottish rehab clinic Castle Craig Hospital launched a posters campaign aimed at raising awareness on addiction. The campaign is targeted at doctors, teachers, HR managers and anyone concerned about addiction.

The posters were designed by Romanian graphic designer Tudor Matei and representatives of Craig Castle Hospital say they wanted to stay away from in the scare tactics that are common with public information campaigns about addiction. “Addiction is within us and around us,” said Tudor Matei, the poster designer, “but building a bridge between the problem (addiction) and the solution (rehab) is very difficult, because there is no unique problem or a unique solution. Every case has its own story, its own variables and its own resolution.”

With 27 full time therapists and over 110 beds, Castle Craig Hospital is the biggest center for the treatment of addiction in the UK.
