Traditional products and customs are to be seen at a dedicated fair held between August 20 and 22 at the Peasant Museum in Bucharest. Organizers promise special food treats coming from around 40 farmers from all over the country. The star of the fair is the local plum gem made in Topoloveni (Magiunul natural de prune Topolveni), the first Romanian food product recognized internationally. The food fest doesn’t stop there though so visitors will be able to taste and shop from a wide selection of food prepared after traditional recipes.
