Mungiu”s film lands Golden Globe nomination

Only on December 1, on Romania's national day, Cristian Mungiu returned from the European Film Awards with the great prize and the prize for best director.
This is one in a longer series of trophies which started with the award of the Palme d'Or prize in Cannes. The movie is also Romania's proposal for contention in the Oscar nominations for best foreign movie. The list of the five foreign nominees for Oscar will be announced on January 22.
