Vodafone becomes the main partner of the most important debate on Romania’s development prospects

The geopolitical landscape, the macroeconomic outlook, the energy crisis, accelerated digitization, the well-being of financial markets and sustainability are just some of the topics discussed at “The Economist Impact – Romanian Business & Investment Roundtable” event on 15-16 March.

 

Lord George Robertson – former NATO Secretary General, Natalia Gavrilița – Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova and Yulia Tymoshenko – former Prime Minister of Ukraine, are just some of the guests of honor at the event in which Vodafone is the main partner. The event is part of The Economist conference series, organized by Hazlis & Rivas with the support of Oxygen.

“The Economist Impact – Romanian Business & Investment Roundtable” is now in its third edition and is a reference event in Romania, bringing together senior officials and prominent personalities from politics and business. Vodafone, as a market leader in telecommunications and technology, is a promoter of a sustainable digital society and facilitates economic and social dialogues. The debate features in-depth analyses from prominent personalities.

The event will take place on 15 and 16 March 2023 in Bucharest at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel and will address the geopolitical landscape on the first day and the macroeconomic outlook on the second. Hot topics to be discussed include the energy crisis, the prospects for the local and European economy in the context of overlapping crises, accelerating digitisation, the well-being of financial markets, and sustainability.

In addition, the Economist Romanian Business & Investment Roundtable event will bring together senior government officials as well as top executives from Romanian and European businesses.
