Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will clearly be hot themes at DevTalks, on June 8, in Bucharest, and UiPath, the only producer of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) services from Romania, will present the trends of this emerging industry.

On the speakers’ list there will be Stefan Adam, UiPath software architect, with a keynote on the theme “The robots are coming. Disruptive approach for screen scraping using deep learning”, scheduled on the first day, from 11:30, on the subject Machine Learning&RPA.

UiPath will talk about the impact of integrating RPA with Cognitive and AI, allowing event participants to address their most pressing questions around these top technological evolutions. The start-up created in 2015 by Daniel Dines has signed in March the biggest agreement ever made in the Romanian IT field, attracting USD 30 million founding in Series A round led by Accel, the same investment fund which saw in Facebook an opportunity.

Robotic Process Automation is a relatively new technology solution which emulates human actions on computers, taking over the repetitive and monotonous tasks and allowing human employees to handle more creative, value added tasks. It is estimated that in 2024, the market will reach USD 5 billion, with a robotic presence of 50 percent within the business department.

Top independent analysts Everest, Forrester and HfS have positioned UiPath as leader in the RPA industry after only three years of market presence.

US and Europe-based clients account for 70 percent of UiPath’s portfolio.
