Tema Energy, the largest Romanian data center developer, will be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange

Tema Energy, the largest Romanian data center developer, with a turnover of 8.75 million euros last year, will be listed in the first half of 2022 on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The company is currently the leader in the data center market in Romania. Since its founding in 2002, Tema Energy has worked with over 600 clients and managed over 100 data center projects over the past 20 years.

“Listing on the stock exchange is a validation of our journey and potential. We want a healthy free float that ensures a real and fair market value, but we are in no hurry – we remain flexible and responsible to the business and other shareholders. The stock market will create multiple instruments that we are ready to use. These include access to capital for new strategic directions, through the issuance of shares or bonds, acquisitions and, last but not least, the motivation and retention of essential personnel – a key resource for the Tema Energy activity”, says Mihai Manole, Managing Partner of Tema Energy.

The listing on Bucharest Stock Exchange is the next level the company is moving towards due to the accelerated performance of recent years, despite the challenging economic and political contexts. In 2021, Tema Energy had a turnover of 8.75 million euros, 22% more than in 2020. Profit also increased by 40% in 2021 compared to the previous year. The company’s prospects are just as solid. Tema Energy aims to increase its turnover by 10%-15% annually in the next five to ten years. The company also plans to expand regionally in Romania’s neighboring countries within 2-3 years.

The listing process is assisted by Goldring, an investment company from Târgu Mureș with an activity of over 20 years on the Romanian capital market, offering consultancy for investors and companies.

In parallel, the company is working on large-scale projects, including Cluster Power data centers, mobile data centers for IGPR – The Romanian Police and organizing the DataCenter Forum, the only profile event in Romania.

First phase of Cluster Power Campus is 98% complete, Tema Energy being the technology integrator for these data centers based in Craiova. It is one of the largest and most innovative Data Centers in Central and South-Eastern Europe.

Tema Energy is in the process of finalizing one of the largest mobile data centers in the country, in partnership with Arctic Stream. The project implies the delivery of an IT container of 13 Racks for IGPR – The Romanian Police and is now being received and tested.

Data Center Forum, an event suspended in 2020 and 2021 in the context of the pandemic, will bring together in 2022 the most important players in the data center market in Romania. Tema Energy is organizing the event in collaboration with some of the largest manufacturers in the world, including APC by Schneider Electric, Vertiv, Rittal, Reichle & de Massari, Aksa, Bachmann, Securiton, and Uptime Institute.
