Code of Talent, the micro-learning blockchain platform initiated by Cofactor and Ascendis, will develop a pilot in healthcare management for patients with diabetes.
The move was announced as Neil Wasserman (PhD), adjunct professor at George Washington University (GW), and managing director, Timewave Analytics, LLC, has joined Code of Talent’s management board. The professor leads the design and implementation of healthcare applications of blockchain and other technologies. He teaches the first course on blockchain at GW.
“Code of Talent believes that the transformative powers of micro-learning can have an unprecedented impact on achieving behavior changes which are essential for patient healthcare in “silent killer” diseases, such as diabetes, obesity or hypertension. These chronic conditions cause the vast majority of healthcare costs, preventable deaths and loss of quality of life worldwide,” said the company in a statement.
