Romania is seen as the European Union’s Silicon Valley and Romanian companies can find reliable collaborators on the Chinese market, Chu Lianyn, a counselor at the International Trade Promotion Council in the Quingdao region, said on a meeting with Romanian businessmen, organized by the USH Pro Business Center.
“The province I represent is very industrialized. We can cooperate with the Romanian companies in the food processing sector, but also in the IT sector, since, as we all know, Romania is Silicon Valley of the European Union,” said the representative the Chinese province.
In turn, Costin Lianu, President of the USH Pro Business Center, showed that Romanian companies are increasingly interested in Chinese space.
“Even if I do not know a lot about this market, the business people in Romania are interested, and the Chinese are very interested in doing business here,” Lianu said.
He listed the main areas of interest for collaboration: green energy, transport, technology.
