Romania becomes a strategically important market for WEBCON

WEBCON, one of the leading global companies that deliver an Enterprise Low-code Application Platform (LCAP) for business process automation and management, has decided to expand its operations in Romania and increase its market presence, both organically and together with Romanian partners and clients.

The company has ongoing partnerships with Romanian system integrators, who deliver solutions for their clients using the WEBCON platform. One of them is Encorsa, a Romanian integrator of digital transformation services through low-code and no-code hyper-automation technologies, Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence – who is the only WEBCON Premium Partner in the region. This partnership is becoming strategic at a regional level for both organizations.

“At WEBCON, we believe that the classic approach to delivering business applications – based on custom coding – does not work in today’s ever-changing reality. To keep up with the business and market needs both IT departments and system integrators require to be fast and flexible in delivering new solutions – and with that in mind, we designed our low-code platform. Through the partnership with Encorsa, we want to empower Romanian companies to efficiently digitize and automate business processes with tailor-made applications that take days or weeks to deliver – not months or even years”, says Michał Rykiert, Director of Business Development EMEA, WEBCON.

WEBCON helps organizations boost their productivity and enables data-driven decision-making through their BPS platform – a comprehensive low-code solution for supporting digital document workflows and business process digitization, automation and management. According to a WEBCON’s study executed on the US market, 93% of CIOs believe that low-code applications are better tailored to business needs and 89% consider that delivering applications using low-code technology is cheaper than custom coding.

“This cooperation gives us many new opportunities because we had already been developing custom-coded solutions before this partnership. With customers’ ever-evolving needs, it became difficult to keep up with the pace of change and keep the solutions perfectly tailored to their current challenges. We were looking for a tool that would allow us to be quick and flexible when building applications, but also while maintaining and evolving them whenever necessary and the WEBCON BPS (Business Process Suite) platform turned out to be what we needed. Today, we can work on numerous applications at once, which means accelerating digital transformation for our clients – and bringing them more value with custom-coded projects. Low-code technology is becoming more and more popular in Romania, and we’re happy to see that our clients are more satisfied with the results of digitization and decide to do more projects with us”, says Catalin Profir, Co-Founder & CEO, Encorsa.

According to a Gartner forecast, by 2025, low-code application development will be responsible for more than 75% of application development activity. That shows the increasing global impact of low-code technology – yet the Romanian market is still not leveraging its full potential.

“Creating solutions with a low-code application development platform – like WEBCON BPS – is simply faster, cheaper and allows us to build solutions iteratively. That allows system integrators to focus less on solving technical problems and more on understanding their clients’ business. It helps cement long-term relationships, and it can transform integrators into strategic partners. As low-code platforms enable quick application delivery and easy maintenance at a low cost, integrators can provide and support more solutions to clients without an increase in personnel. It really can lead to bona fide digital transformation”, says Łukasz Wróbel, SVP & CBDO at WEBCON.
