qCommerce for all: BeeFast opens its platform for traders who want to manage their fleet of suppliers

The tech start-up BeeFast launches BeeFast SaaS – the first Romanian software as a service solution that helps businesses manage their last-mile deliveries in real-time, in cities. The investment in the development of the solution was 250,000 euros. With this launch BeeFast aims to enter the international market, focusing on Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and United Kingdom markets.

After two years of experience in last-mile deliveries on the market in Bucharest and Brasov, over 300,000 orders delivered with an average of 55 minutes and after moving in online over 70 businesses at the beginning of the pandemic, BeeFast opens the ultra-fast courier platform to companies that need to organize their delivery service on a digital basis. The SaaS solution dedicated to partners was developed during the first 6 months of the year and the necessary investment was 250,000 euros.

From the beginning, our vision was to develop the infrastructure for the digital economy. We started with developing the software platform and testing it in Bucharest, at the end of 2019, and from 2021 in Brasov as well. We have always been in an upward trend in the ultra-fast delivery segment, but we are a tech company, so the second phase of our development and overcoming the operational area is a natural step. In the absence of the pandemic context, we would have reached this phase earlier, but the year 2020 and its challenges also had benefits that helped us develop the platform to become a unique solution for the Romanian market and a competitive solution for the international market, said Cristian Grozea, CEO of BeeFast.

BeeFast SaaS targets retailers – companies with their delivery system, such as florists, pharmacies, grocery stores, dark stores, electronics stores, etc. – but also companies in the service area, such as dry cleaners, HoReCa, as well as small and medium delivery companies.

Real-time tracking and data analysis.

The advantages of using BeeFast SaaS target both the business customer, couriers, and end consumer. Therefore, for businesses the use of the solution brings real-time monitoring of operations – what orders enter, when, who delivers them, real-time tracking -, also providing data and analysis. The solution is customizable so that every business owner can optimize the operations.

At the same time, couriers receive a native, user-friendly application that facilitates interaction with the end customer and optimizes deliveries. The end customer has real-time tracking and direct access to the courier’s contact details, contributing to a superior shopping experience.

In the last two years, investments in user experience have influenced more than ever the level of customer retention, and a detailed analysis of the data translates into saving time and money. The democratization of our platform represents an extension of the know-how built up in these two years of ultra-fast deliveries and a way for any business that makes deliveries to differentiate itself in the market, Cristian Grozea also specified.

How much does the BeeFast SaaS solution cost and how quickly can it be implemented

BeeFast SaaS can be accessed by merchants based on a monthly subscription, which starts at 54 euros and can reach up to 999 euros. The difference between the subscription thresholds comes, among others, from the number of monthly deliveries and can vary depending on the customer.

The implementation of the solution is done quickly, requiring only a little information about the organization, a valid card to create the account, and then adding specific information to become functional.

BeeFast SaaS is a solution that can be conveniently scaled, whether we are talking about national or international levels. We already have requests to be implemented nationwide in cities such as Bucharest, Cluj Napoca, Timisoara, and Brasov, and at the European level, we target markets in Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom. We estimate that by the end of the year we will have over 500 customers who will already use our solution, Cristian Grozea also specified.

The delivery segment is growing organically

While the tech company continues to develop in the digital infrastructure segment, the operations continue to grow organically. Recently, BeeFast expanded its partnership with Auchan and began delivering in Bucharest from dark stores, in addition to the chain’s physical stores. Also in June, BeeFast partnered with evoMag.

The operational segment continues to grow organically, and that is reflected in turnover at 6 months, which exceeded the threshold of 300,000 euros. We keep our promise of delivery, recording an average time of 55 minutes from taking orders, therefore being still one of the best solutions for ultra-fast last-mile deliveries. qCommerce is a reality, not just a trend, and this is visible from month to month, concluded Cristian Grozea.
