The mobile operator Orange has the title “The fastest mobile network in Romania” confirmed by the tests conducted by Speedtest by Ookla after achieving a score of 36.96 points with an average speed of 41.09 Mbps for download and 15.78 Mbps for upload.

The results of the tests incorporate the measurements made by the Romanian Android and iOS users of the Speedtest application from the first half of 2018 for the main telecom operators in Romania. Thus, the 746,575 tests performed on more than 125,000 LTE-compatible mobile devices have shown that Orange offers the best mobile network experience in major cities in Romania, including Bucharest, Brasov and Timisoara.

In addition, these results are in addition to the recent certification by Systemics PAB, according to which Orange have been designated the best voice and data network in Romania, according to a comparative national survey conducted between June and July 2018.

4G MegaHunt

Between September 19, 2018 and November 9, 2018, Orange customers in both urban and rural areas can test the largest 4G network in Romania through the 4G MegaHunt mobile application. It uses augmented reality (AR) to help application users interactively “hunt” the prizes in the game.

Customers can get 1GB or 2GB net bonuses, one of 10,000 vouchers worth 10 euros and can add up to 20GB of internet throughout the campaign.

The internet bonuses accrued through the 4G MegaHunt app have a 30-day validity for PrePay users and a subscriber billing month. Vouchers can be used to purchase phones, along with activating or prolonging a subscription, for a 24-month contract period or for the purchase of accessories.
