A global survey carried out by Kaspersky Lab reveals that an ordinary family in Romania has on average 2.6 devices with internet access that are capable to store a high quantity of data.
Romania ranks last in the ranking, with countries such as India, or Germany with 2.9 gadgets per household.
At the opposite pole there are Saudi Arabia with an averahe of 4.3 gadgets, followed by South Africa with 4 gadgets and the United States, with 3.7 gadgets.
In Romania, PCs are the most popular gadgets, with 71 percent having one at home, while 16.4 percent of Romanians saying they have two or more desktop computers.
Laptops are also very popular among Romanians, with 51.5 percent of them saying they have one, while 13.3 percent say they even have two or more.
Over 40 percent of Romanians who answered the survey said they have one smartphone, while 9.6 percent of them say in their family there are two or more such devices.
Only 5 percent of Romanians said they have a tablet in their household.
In total, only 0.7 percent of Romanian households have a complete set of modern electronic equipments- PC, laptop, smartphones and tablets.
