AROBS Transilvania Software (BVB: AROBS), the largest company listed on the AeRO market, posts individual operating revenue of 172.5 million lei in 2021, up 10% compared to 2020, a turnover of 169.3 million lei, 10% more than in 2020, EBITDA of 48 million lei, an increase of 2% vs. 2020 and a net profit of 43.6 million lei, a positive variation of 8% compared to the previous year.

The results recorded by AROBS in 2021 confirm the stability, but also our development potential for the coming years. The attraction of new partners from Europe, the United States and the increase in client demand for our services and products supported the increase in turnover. At the same time, these results are due to our colleagues and business partners. Together we had an extremely demanding year with many unknown facts and challenges, and I thank them for their work. 2021 was an intense year for us. We managed to complete the projects in which we were engaged, such as: preparing the company to become public, successfully closing the largest private placement in the history of AeRO, through which we raised 72.4 million lei and listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, immediately followed by a new acquisition – Berg Software. The pressure on the Romanian labor market had its say in 2021, and even though we implemented the first stage of the Stock Option Plan program in November 2021, the effects will be observed this year. In more than two months since the listing, we have noticed a high interest of investors for AROBS shares, and we have a liquidity that places us among the companies on the Main Market. This honors but also motivates us. We convey to investors that in 2022 we will continue to be equally active in the market and involved in significant projects,” stated Voicu Oprean, founder and CEO of AROBS.

The preliminary financial results are the individual ones of AROBS Transilvania Software. The consolidated financial results will be presented at a later date. At the individual level, in 2021, the software services contributed 72% to the company’s turnover, the products with 26%, while other services had a contribution of 2%. The company expects the software development industry to continue the upward trend, observing an increase in demand in software services and software products, such as fleet management, business optimization, and digital payments, amid increasing investment in digitalization made by companies and organizations.

Our advantage is that we are a technology company with exposure in several economic sectors, a significant player at an international level, with expertise in both software services and the innovative products fields. At the same time, we operate in technology areas that allow accelerated development and growth in various industries, from Automotive – automotive, electric and hybrid cars -, IoT, Fintech, RPA, digitalization and many more,” added Voicu Oprean.

In 2021, AROBS launched a contactless and paperless payment solution, MonePOS, which addresses the mobility industries such as taxi, retail, courier, delivery, and more. The contactless and paperless digital payment solution marked a new direction for diversifying the company’s activity and entering a new market.

Moreover, together with the preparations for listing on the Stock Exchange, AROBS implemented the first stage of the Stock Option Plan (ESOP) program to stimulate and retain employees within AROBS and other companies from the group. Through this program, AROBS aims to transform employees into company partners.

In terms of plans for 2022, the company will continue its development to diversify the activity and enter new markets.

Through an M&A strategy presented at the time of the private placement in October 2021, AROBS is considering acquiring IT companies, software services, and solutions for fleet management and business optimization. At the same time, AROBS will continue to invest in research, innovation, and the development of new areas of expertise. In the software services and products field, the company plans to expand both nationally and internationally to accelerate its growth and strengthen its position in the markets in which it is present. One step in this direction is strengthening the offices in Germany and the United Kingdom and opening an office in North America.

To increase their presence on the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) market, AROBS and Berg Timișoara – a company that joined the group at the end of 2021 – are working together to expand their client portfolio and the services and solutions provided in the medical equipment and security sectors. Berg is the first acquisition made by the company after the private placement and listing on BVB. Berg’s financial results will be included in the consolidated financial statements.

AROBS is listed on the AeRO market as of December 6th, 2021.
