Adobe Romania brings and promotes a high standard of employee well-being and an enhanced package of financial and non-financial benefits, positioning the company among the most desired employers in the local IT market. Starting from 2023, Adobe employees will enjoy 25 days of paid leave annually.

In addition to competitive salaries, Adobe Romania employees receive a complete package of financial benefits, such as annual performance-based financial rewards or tradable stock options. Moreover, there are non-financial benefits, including health benefits, personal and professional development programs, opportunities to work on innovative products, unique office experiences, reimbursements for equipment or sports subscriptions, days off, discounts, and well-being-focused benefits.

When it comes to job satisfaction, salary remains, of course, an extremely important factor, but it is no longer sufficient to motivate employees, especially in a competitive industry like IT. The salary level, benefits package, learning and development opportunities, but most prominently, the balance between personal and professional life, leisure time, and flexibility are central elements in our talent attraction and retention strategy,” stated Cris Radu, Site Leader of Adobe Romania and Vice President of Engineering.

The most valued benefit: free time.

Financial assistance for child adoption, budget for sports activities, contributions to the private pension plan (Pillar 3), private health insurance including dental coverage for both Adobe employees and their families, as well as tradable stocks on the stock market, are just a few of the benefits that complement the salary package for Adobe employees.

Moreover, the value of these non-salary financial benefits can reach tens of thousands of dollars annually, depending on seniority and performance. However, the most appreciated non-financial benefit offered by Adobe, which applies to all employees, is the provision of additional days off.

“We place a great deal of importance on well-being-centered benefits. All employees have access to a program that allows them to utilize the services of a psychologist, receive free consultations with a financial advisor, and enjoy free courses or meditation sessions. Naturally, we constantly update our package of non-salary benefits based on employee expectations, context, needs, and desires. During the pandemic, we introduced an additional benefit of extra annual days off for the entire company. Starting this year, we have increased the number of paid vacation days to 25. Additionally, national holidays that fall on weekends are compensated by additional days off on the preceding Friday or the following Monday,” added Cris Radu.

Locally, Adobe Romania, the subsidiary of the IT giant, is the largest Adobe center in Europe focused on software product development, employing over 1000 professionals. The continuous growth of the workforce, along with the training and development of the team, is a constant concern for the company and necessary for achieving high levels of performance.

In the upcoming period, the company’s objective is to further strengthen its position as a center of excellence in Romania, providing employees with unique opportunities in terms of career development, compensation, and non-salary benefits.

Open positions cover all levels of experience, ranging from entry-level to senior and management roles. The recruitment process focuses on software development specialists in various programming languages, such as Java, JavaScript, C++, and Site Reliability Engineering.
