270 NTT DATA employees from Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Sibiu, and Timișoara have benefited from 27 training and certification programs

NTT DATA Romania S.A., as beneficiary, announces the completion of the project “IDEA – Innovate, Discover, Evolve, Apply / IDEA – Inovează Descoperă, Evoluează, Aplică”, ID SMIS 142366, contract no. POCU/861/3/12/142366, a project co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020.

Through the implementation of this project, the company aimed to improve the level of knowledge and skills of the team, according to the SNC and SNCDI, by providing training, assessment, and certification programs for advanced professional skills in the IT field for 251 employees over a period of 18 months.

Results achieved:

☞ 270 employees benefited from 27 training programs for the development of primary/advanced digital skills in the ICT field and for IT specialists, and 3 certification fees.

☞ 219 employees who validated their skills by acquiring a certification

The main activities carried out under the project (organization of training and certification programs for primary/advanced digital skills and for IT&C specialists) were designed in such a way that employees acquire relevant skills appropriate to current labor market requirements.

Through implementation and the results obtained, the project contributes to the overall objective of the Human Capital Operational Programme on increasing the adaptability of enterprises in the priority sectors identified in the SNC and SNCDI and supporting the involvement of employers in the development of employees’ skills, especially in primary/advanced digital and IT specialist skills.

The project “IDEA – Innovate, Discover, Evolve, Apply / IDEA – Inovează, Descoperă, Evoluează, Aplică” took place from June 22 2021 to March 4 2023, at NTT DATA Romania offices in Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Sibiu and Timisoara.

The total value of the project is RON 2,710,551.60, of which RON 1,164,019.30 is non-reimbursable funding.
