SII Romania estimates a turnover of EUR 30 million in the fiscal year 2022-2023

SII Romania, a multinational company specialized in IT services and solutions, estimates a turnover of EUR 30 million in the fiscal year 2022-2023, respectively an increase of approx. 58% compared to the previous fiscal year and reaching a number of 650 employees. In the medium term, the company aims for an organic development, both in terms of expanding the service portfolio and in terms of team growth.

SII Romania ended the fiscal year 2021-2022 with a turnover of 19 million Eur, a net increase of 48% compared to the previous period (April 2020-March 2021), against the background of a sustainable development strategy, with investments in the elements key. Currently, the company has 570 specialists who have successfully delivered over 180 projects to 60 global clients.

75% of SII Romania projects are local and 25% international – in countries such as France, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and others, and the main fields of activity and industries in which the company has a strong footprint are: Automotive, Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, IT, Telecommunications, Banking & Finance, Insurance, Energy, Manufacturing, Agriculture and others.

SII Romania has registered a continuous development in the last three years, which has also translated into an increase in the number of projects and their complexity, at the level of both divisions – Digital and Engineering – where currently over 550 highly skilled engineers work qualified. At the same time, against the background of the mentioned growth, the company experienced a doubling of the operational team, i.e. an increase of over 230% at the level of the Automotive teams, within the Engineering division.

As a consequence of the development of local operations, SII Romania has consolidated its position as a strategic provider of solutions and services for multinational companies, leaders in various top industries. We aim to sustain the same rate of growth in the medium and long term, and our plans aim at developing the service portfolio and growing the team”, said Manel Balesteros, CEO of SII Romania.

SII Romania targets over 1000 employees in the next three years

In response to the ever-increasing need for digitization, the company estimates a maintenance of the already existing trends. In this sense, SII Romania aims for a sustainable development and focuses on investments in the team and the development of the service portfolio, by creating new divisions – AI, Cloud and IoT.
In a first stage, for the fiscal year 2022-2023, the company aims to reach a number of 650 specialists and a turnover of approx. 30 million Eur. Subsequently, in the medium term (approx. three years), SII Romania aims to reach 1000 employees, and in the long term it aims to become one of the strongest IT companies in Romania.

At the international level, the expansion is carried out through projects developed at group level, delivered with the help of the One Team global work model, which benefits the 88 subsidiaries, from the 18 countries in which the multinational company SII Group is located.
