Euroweb, part of Turk Telekom, plans to make investments in infrastructure on the Romanian market which will amount to EUR 2 million this year, the company announced. Over the next 4 years, the company’s investments into infrastructure are budgeted at EUR 10 million.
Furthermore, according to estimations of Stuart Evers, CEO Euroweb Romania, the company has at the moment approximately 1,000 clients on the Romanian market but the customer base is expected to double over the next two years.
The Romanian market is very competitive due to the prices that for years have been on a downward trend, according to Mehmet Toros, (international & wholesale) senior VP in Turk Telekom.
Euroweb Romania supplies internet services, communication solutions via IP, VoIP and video-calling services and internet to the business segment in Romania. The main shareholder of Euroweb Romania since 2010 is Turk Telekom, a group listed on the Istanbul stock exchange which incorporates companies such as Pantel, Euroweb, TTNET, Argela, Innova, Sebit, Sobee and AssisTT.
