Cognizant Softvision Celebrates Five Years in Brasov

Cognizant Softvision announces a significant milestone: five years on the local market in Brasov, Romania.

The Brasov team has worked remotely since the beginning of its tenure, and the company marked the five-year celebration with an in-person gathering on October 20. At the event, colleagues enjoyed face-to-face conversation, sharing memories and exchanging stories. The management team also revealed plans to continue to invest and grow in the local market.

“We are very optimistic about our future in Brasov, and overall in Romania, and we are anticipating significant growth in the coming years,” said Mihai Constandis, Country Manager Romania, Community Head Europe (GGM – Global Growth Markets).

Brasov is currently Cognizant Softvision’s only fully remote location in Romania. The Brasov team has grown substantially, becoming the fastest growing across Cognizant Softvision’s global studios.

“We continue to grow in Romania, with more than 1,000 colleagues joining us in 2021, and almost 700 this year,” said Raluca Dolan, HR Director, Cognizant Softvision. “Brasov remains one of the cities that has great potential to support our continuous growth strategy. We have around 100 colleagues in Brasov and we hope to welcome new ones in the near future, as we have many open positions in all areas.”

The company has more than 2,500 employees in Romania. Cognizant Softvision specialists deliver transformative solutions for industries like banking and financial services, insurance, pharma and health sciences, automotive, and retail, among others.
