Solidar Social, the humanitarian campaign initiated by Adi Hadean Association, is the winner in the category “The Social responsibility campaign of the year 2020” at the Horeca Awards event, held on November 25th. Macromex has been, from the beginning of the campaign, the main sponsor of the huge effort which continued during these 8 month, the quantity of food prepared by the volunteers reaching 150.000 meals delivered to the vulnerable people and doctors.
“Solidar Social campaign was founded on solidarity. No one from those who got involved in the campaign, volunteers, sponsors, donors, was interested in glory or his own image and I believe that this sincere solidarity made possible the continuous effort in the 8 months,made for vulnerable people and medical staff in the Covid hospitals. Our support has been constant also and will stay so for the necessary amount of time” – Albert Davidoglu, CEO Macromex.
The award was received by Chef Adi Hadean, in the name of his team, sponsors and donors: “First of all, Solidar Social is the work of my colleagues, Team Hadean, (…) and of our friends from DGASPC, 6th District. We have succeeded form April until now to deliver more than 143.000 warm meals for lunch, to people in need from the 6th District in Bucharest and to doctors in the first line, in the Covid hospitals, and most of all to the doctors in Matei Bals Hospital, on whom we have concentrated much of our attention because this is what we could do to help. I want to thank from my heart to the tens of sponsors who have helped us with tons of ingredients for the food we have prepared, to the hundreds of donors and to the hundreds of volunteers” – Chef Adi Hadean.
The activity of Solidar Social will continue due to the donations received, to the volunteers who give a much needed hand and to the donors, all the people who donate in the Adi Hadean Association bank account.
