Mercedes-Benz Romania and ENGIE Romania announced a new partnership at a national level, promoting the Elvi charging stations, produced by EVBox, a company owned by ENGIE.

The partnership marks an attempt to facilitate access to a home charging station for Mercedes-Benz and smart EQ clients who choose to buy electric or hybrid plug-in cars. Those interested can benefit from an integrated package of consulting services, installation, maintenance, online monitoring, and technical assistance for their electric station. Clients who opt for an ENGIE Romania as their electricity provider can also benefit from an e-mobility subscription, with access to more than 160 charging points countrywide, assuring public area charging for electric cars within the limit of approximately 3,000 km.

“Sustainability is an integral part of the Mercedes-Benz strategy and it represents an important aspect in our corporate responsibility. We are happy to take another step towards electric mobility alongside ENGIE Romania, and to offer our clients a complete electric mobility solution.” Says Martin Schulz, General Director Mercedes-Benz Cars Romania and President Mercedes-Benz Romania.

“The transition to zero carbon emissions is the heart of ENGIE Romania’s strategy, developing performant and innovative solutions for our clients. This will enable them to become actors in the reduction of carbon emissions. The partnership with Mercedes-Benz Romania is clear proof of our ambition to provide our clients with integrated solutions to access clean and environment-friendly energy.” Added Nicolas Richard, Marketing & Sales Director at ENGIE Romania.
