Klarwin and Smart City Team Up to Promote Sustainable Water, Air and Waste Solutions

The international company Klarwin announces the signing of the partnership with the Romanian Association for Smart City, joining the over 260 institutions, companies, universities and NGO’s that support the country’s development. Through this collaboration, Klarwin wants to respond with sustainable solutions to some of the challenges facing Romanian communities: the need to increase air and water quality, and ensure integrated and efficient waste management.

“We need a country that is smart, in which communities respond to challenges in a way adapted to the century we live in, where the monitoring of public water and sanitation services is done digitally and students breathe fresh air in schools. The partnership with Smart City comes naturally, finding us in the organizational culture and in the climate of values promoted by them. We are happy when good people come together and we are confident that Klarwin’s participation in this project will bring significant gains to local communities and that together we will set the tone for a new model of smart city governance,” said Adrian Dobre, founder and CEO of Klarwin.

Klarwin offers unique solutions for filtering, separating, purifying and treating water and air for more than 250 clients in nine countries. In terms of waste management, the company proposes integrated, sustainable systems for low – and middle-income countries.

“We have distinguished ourselves through reference projects for environmental protection, both nationally and internationally. We successfully collaborate in the treatment of leachate in over 60 projects and we have designed more than 40 biogas plants. The name Klarwin is linked to the trillions of liters of water used in the pharmaceutical industry and to the special attention we pay to the impact that all our systems have on the environment “, explained Lucian Pavel, Manager of the Department of Environmental Protection within Klarwin.
