Casiana Fometescu, Carbon Expert, joins Business Review’s Environmental & Sustainability Summit 2022

Casiana Fometescu, a CO2 International Consultant and Founder of Carbon Expert and Restart Energy Democracy Carbon Standard Partner, will be a speaker in the first panel of day 2 at Environmental & Sustainability Summit 2022, dedicated to CO2 emission targets and renewable energy.

Casiana Fometescu is a consultant on the carbon and energy markets on issues related to greenhouse gas emissions energy efficiency projects with an experience of more than twelve years on the international carbon markets. She is a consultant for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), participating in various meetings and working groups at international levels, such as International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), and Climate Markets & Investment Association (CMIA), Copa Cogeca European Agri Cooperatives. Casiana Fometescu is also the President of the Romanian Carbon Association and holds a Ph.D. in Economics.

The Restart Energy Democracy (RED) Platform has developed the first blockchain-based CO2 offset and sustainability system that allows any company or individual to completely neutralize their carbon footprint while providing a new and reliable marketplace for renewable energy producers and other green project developments.
