An exhibition of traditional Romanian icons will open this Sunday, March 25th, at the Romanian Peasant Museum, starting 12.00 pm at Acvariu Hall. The icons, made by Radu Dinica, aim at preserving the craft that emerged in northern Transylvania at the beginning of the 18th century.

The exhibited works take the viewer through various areas of traditional Romanian painting (Nicula, Arpas, Scheii Brasovului, Fagaras), while keeping the artist’s own themes, technique and colors.

Open March 25 – 29, at the National Peasant Museum
