Gayfest week celebrated in Bucharest

The ACCEPT Association organizes between June 25 and July 1 the celebration and recognition of diversity festival Gayfest. This ninth edition of the festival is awaiting its supporters, friends and sympathizers with movies, exhibitions, debates, parties and the Diversity March, which will take place on June 30.

The Gayfest week started on June 25 with the “Living library” at Café Voyage, an event where the members of the gay community could talk with those interested in their stories. Also, theater plays, art exhibitions, parties and themed movies are on schedule for this year’s event. Another interesting headline in the program is Discussions about Love, a series of conversations about love that seek to create an open and friendly environment in which guests can ask questions about the problem of normality, patterns, stereotypes and discrimination.

The Diversity March, the annual parade, will take place on Saturday from 5 PM to 7 PM on the following route:Unirii Square–Constitutiei Square– Izvor subway station.
