Billionaire Warren Buffett warned investors again not to invest in bitcoin during the annual shareholder meeting of Berkshire Hathaway.

Bitcoin is “probably rat poison squared,” he said, according to CNBC.

Earlier this year, Buffett said that cryptocurrencies will generally “come to a bad ending.”

“If I could buy a five-year put on every one of the cryptocurrencies, I’d be glad to do it but I would never short a dime’s worth,” said the billionaire.

Bitcoin was down 3.45 percent in the last 24 hours to USD 9,231.53, according to coinmarketcap.com. Its market cap stood at USD 157.12 billion.
