The Business Review team has selected five of the most influential office projects in Bucharest—some already operating, others still under development—that are enhancing the city’s business profile and attracting new companies to the local market.
The first office phase of One Cotroceni Park was delivered by One United Properties in early 2022. The development includes 46,000 square meters of office and commercial spaces, with a leasing rate of 78 percent at the end of March 2022.
A second office component spanning 35,000 square meters will be completed this year and will be integrated in One Cotroceni Park, which will also feature over 850 apartments as part of its mixed-use strategy. Its biggest tenants are Superbet, Deutsche Bahn Cargo Romania, SII Romania, World Class and Siemens Energy (phase 2).
The development has LEED Platinum v4 pre-certification, which attests sustainable operation and minimal environmental impact. One United Properties is also working to secure the WELL Health and Safety certification, which assesses the health and wellbeing at work.
Residents and employees in One Cotroceni Park will also benefit from a mix of facilities that includes restaurants, cafes, gyms, as well as medical and educational centres.
