Work on north Bucharest bypass to start in a month

The bypass and the future express road to connect Craiova and Pitesti should be ready by the time carmaker Ford starts production in its newly-acquired Craiova factory, said Orban. “When the Ford factory becomes functional, between 125 and 175 trucks with cars will leave daily from Craiova to Constanta,” added the minister.
Bucharest's northern bypass will cost around EUR 36 million, and the bypass in Otopeni, past the train lines, around EUR 4.4 million.
