Wipro Technologies signs EUR 7 mln leasing contract for Timisoara offices

Outsourcing firm Wipro Technologies Romania has leased 4,500 sqm in the City Business Center office compound in Timisoara, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, co-exclusive agent on the deal. Wipro will occupy most of the C building, which is still under construction and will be finished in the fourth quarter of 2010. The contract runs for 10 years, with an average rent of EUR 13 per sqm per month, putting its value at around EUR 7 million. The project is being developed by ModaTim Investment.

City Business Center will cover 34,000 sqm of class A office space, as well as 8,000 sqm for retail and services. The project will be developed in five phases, each comprising a building. So far the first two buildings have been completed and fully let.
