Senso Ambiente, the bathroom furniture and equipment distributor, has announced that it estimates a EUR 2 million turnover this year. The company also plans to keep its 11 percent share of the local branded sanitary equipment market, which is estimated to have dropped by 40 percent.
To achieve this, the firm has increased its number of distributors throughout the country. While at the beginning of the year it had 38 distributors, it now owns 70, and plans to increase the number to 90 throughout the country by year-end.
As part of its strategy to maintain its market share, the firm brought to Romania the Ideal Standard brand at the beginning of this year.
According to Senso representatives, it has been the best-selling brand in the company’s portfolio in the first trimester of this year. n
