Youens will be chairman of the board with seven other nominated members: Radu Boitan MRICS, of King Sturge; Charles Bergen MRICS, of Dragoman Development; Iain Brown MRICS, Lane Development Managers; Doinita Costache MRICS, from Cushman & Wakefield; Adrian Crivii FRICS, of Darian; David Howard MRICS, of Smith Hodgkinson; and Nicoleta Radu MRICS, from Zanti Exclusive.The board will report to the RICS European Board which is one of the six world regional boards reporting to the Governing Council. RICS Romania now has more than 50 members, of whom two thirds are Romanian nationals. “I will work to promote the interests of the RICS and its member in Romania and look forward to making it a truly Romanian organization as well as part of RICS Global. My goal upon the expiration of my term of office is to hand over the chair to a Romanian,” said Youens, who is also the managing director of Creativ Global Property.RICS is the recognized professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction.
