This third store in Timisoara, joining outlets opened in March 2006 and November 2007, takes the total investment made by real,- in the western city to EUR 65 million, while the number of jobs created surpasses 900. This year, real,- has also introduced into its stores its own brand real,- Quality. Last year real,- Romania increased its turnover from EUR 367 million to EUR 638 million, a 92 percent growth. At the same time the firm has continued its ambitious expansion plans on the Romanian retail market with the opening of six new stores in 2008 and two in 2009, taking its current local network to 23 hypermarkets.
