Praktiker Romania plans 30-unit network within three years

Praktiker Romania opened four stores in 2007 and its total investment in expanding the network reached EUR 160 million. The Romanian chain is planning to reach 30 units in the next three years, with four to five openings per year, according to the company's official data.
Worldwide, Praktiker reported net sales worth EUR 3.95 billion, registering a 24.8 percent increase compared to 2006, the company announced. The German group runs a network of 425 outlets in Germany, Luxemburg, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.
