PlanRadar, the European technology leader for the digitization of documentation and communications in real estate, construction, and engineering projects, announces the official launch of its services in Romania.

Founded in 2013, Austria-based, PlanRadar digitizes construction and real estate projects in over 55 countries. Working worldwide with key players in construction companies, construction suppliers, real estate companies and facility management companies worldwide, PlanRadar secured first contracts in Romania with Bog’Art, PrimeKapital, Porr, Strabag and Workspace Studios.

The PlanRadar platform is a SaaS solution that operates and manages both construction documentation and the tracking of all processes in real estate projects in the cloud. The platform user uploads project plans and can report defects observed on site or enter tasks directly via smartphone, tablet or web on the plan and then communicate or delegate them to project team members (teammates, suppliers, partners.)

The construction market in Europe, and its related sectors, is at a key juncture caused by rising raw material prices, a shortage of skilled labor in the sector, but also the continuous adaptation to the sustainability requirements that companies have to meet. Digital transformation and automation in construction are the first steps that the construction industry needs to take as quickly as possible, especially as sustainable building design involves applications that require the integration of large amounts of data. PlanRadar operates through cloud, so the project can be digitally tracked by beneficiaries from the design phase through to the handover phase.” says Bojan PETKOVIC, PlanRadar Country Manager SEE & Romania.

PlanRadar helps increase productivity during the construction phase and through real estate operations. Mobile and tablet-based technology connects the office to the jobsite and brings clarity on daily tasks for all team members, performance and expectations, resource status and real-time project progress. All communication and workflow are documented in the cloud, where it can be tracked or downloaded for monitoring, review, reporting. The users can use in the platform 16 languages simultaneously, including Romanian.

Sander Van de Rijdt, co-founder and co-CEO of PlanRadar, stated that “the pandemic has finally accelerated the digitization of the construction and real estate sectors, and in the coming years its players will show a special interest in solutions that allow them to streamline processes and optimize costs. In this context, I am convinced that PlanRadar will also become in Romania the category leader like in rest of Europe and the reference tool for architects, engineers, builders or facility management companies”.

Romania is an important construction market, continuing the growth trend of recent years. The environment is challenging, competitive, and there is an emphasis on sustainability in construction, which confirms that digitalization is a key process in this context. We are happy that at this moment, even at the official launch, we can say that we already have customers in Romania with whom we are collaborating.” says co-founder and co-CEO Ibrahim Imam.

With the official launch in Romania, PlanRadar offers the opportunity to test the platform for free for 30 days by visiting https://www.planradar.com/ro. A local PlanRadar team operates in Romania to support customers and partners.
