Atenor to start new office project on Expozitiei Blvd. at the beginning of next year

Belgian real estate developer Atenor intends to start the development of an office project on Expozitiei Blvd. in early 2019, according to its last market report, if it receives the construction approval this autumn.

The office project in Expozitiei will be built on an 11,500 sqm land plot and will comprise 46,900 sqm of office space.

The Belgian group will also develop an office project in central Bucharest, at the intersection of Calea Victoriei and Dacia Boulevard, where the company has taken over a historic building that will be refurbished, as well as a plot of land. The project will total 15,800 sqm.

According to the report, Atenor is still looking for buyers for the three office buildings in the Hermes Business Campus project, which comprises 75,000 sqm, is fully occupied and generated a rental income of EUR 4.2 million in the first half of the year.

The company reached a total rental income of EUR 45.7 million from its European portfolio in the first half of the year.
