The retailer now runs seven stores totaling some 6,000 sqm of retail space. Suceava Shopping City opened its doors in April last year and covers 47,000 sqm of leasable area. The shopping center is owned by Argo Capital Management Property Limited. The project required an investment of EUR 65 million. It hosts tenants such as Carrefour, with 12,000 sqm, Mobexpert (5,700 sqm), Media Galaxy (2,000 sqm) and Baumax (13,500 sqm). The retail park attracted 250,000 visitors a month in the first half of this year. Suceava is one of the most crowded cities in terms of retail developments. It is number one based on the density of retail space per thousand inhabitants, with 1,152 sqm in GLA, according to Razvan Gheorghe, general manager of Cushman & Wakefield. New Yorker runs 690 stores in 25 countries in Europe and the Middle East.
