One United Properties’s NEO Timpuri Noi, a mixed-use building for housing and retail, has obtained the construction permit.

NEO Timpuri Noi is located on a 3,835 sqm land in Bucharest’s District 3. The building will have 8 storeys and will include 108 housing units (65 2-room, 31 3-room and 12 4-room apartments), retail spaces as well as underground and above-ground parking.

The complex will feature elegant contemporary design with high-quality finishes as well as the advantages of green buildings – One United Properties has already begun the process to obtain the Green Homes certification.

NEO Timpuri Noi will align to the company’s general standards: sustainable materials, energy-efficient and low-pollution systems, a healthier indoor environment, superior energy efficiency for the building, and waste separation starting as early as the construction phase.

The NEO division developed by One United Properties, the main player on the exclusive residential property market in Bucharest, focuses on residential projects that are smaller than the ones developed under the One brand, such as 4-8-storey residential buildings or developments on areas of 2,000-3,000 sqm. The division’s portfolio includes residential properties both in Bucharest as well as at the seaside.

The company was established in August 2018 and has already acquired its first three locations: NEO Floreasca Lake, NEO Timpuri Noi and NEO Mamaia.

The NEO brand is part of One United Properties’s long-term development strategy and aims to harness the potential of a relatively unexploited segment of smaller, exclusive real estate projects.
