Most expensive apartment sold for EUR 5,000 per sqm, Regatta says

The most expensive such property, by the price per built sqm, is a three-room apartment of 240 sqm in the Dorobanti area, according to a list released by Regatta, which ranks the most expensive ten apartments in Bucharest. Its asking price is EUR 5,000 per sqm, and the total cost EUR 1.2 million. The second place is occupied by a 193-sqm apartment in the Herastrau area, sold for some EUR 4,900 per sqm, for a total of EUR 1.12 million.
The 184-sqm apartment in Dorobanti area which comes third in the list was on the market for EUR 4,750 per sqm, for a total asking price of over EUR 1 million. The biggest final price for one of the apartments in the list was for a 500-sqm apartment in Dorobanti Square, sold for some EUR 1.75 million. The last ranking property covers 122 sqm, is located in the Dorobanti area and has a sale price of EUR 354,000. Prices exclude VAT. The sales value of all ten apartments reaches EUR 8.5 million.
