Lloyd, a sixteen-year veteran of Romania, was appointed CEO of Baneasa Developments in 2000. Previously he was an advisor to the president of the National Agency for Privatization, then the president of the Romanian Development Agency. Lloyd was formerly a partner at Jones Lang LaSalle and has worked across both
Eastern and Western Europe, including two years in Warsaw and Prague.
Following his move and as part of the internal restructuring at the level of the entire Baneasa Project, executive decision-making will now be decentralized to the level of each of the three divisions: residential, coordinated through Baneasa Investments; office area coordinated through Baneasa Business & Technology Park; and Baneasa Shopping City coordinated through Baneasa Developments. All three divisions will be overseen by a supervisory board.
Earlier this year, Lloyd's wife Maureen, partner and founding member of communication agency Re:ply, made the decision to leave Romania, and said she and her family would move to Switzerland.
