Jupiter Group opens Jupiter City in Pitesti, plans more retail and residential

The developer is planning several other projects in Romania in the next couple of years, among them three shopping centers. One of them will be in the Pipera-Tunari area of Bucharest, according to Amnon Vardi, manager for Romania at Jupiter Group. The next such project developed by the group will be opened most likely at the end of next year, outside Bucharest.
Jupiter Group is also planning an office building in Bucharest and a residential compound which will be built on 30 hectares of land in Balotesti, close to Bucharest.
The recently opened Carrefour in Pitesti covers 7,000 sqm, and required a EUR 20 million investment from the retailer. Jupiter City also features a commercial galleria which will host stores like Sephora, Intersport, Leonardo and BamBoo.
Praktiker opened its unit in Pitesti on 8,200 sqm and after a EUR 10 million investment. It is the second opening from Praktiker this year, after the one in Deva, earlier this month.
Mobexpert invested EUR 2.5 million in opening its store in Pitesti, on some 7,000 sqm. It has recently opened a similar store in Suceava.
