Dunwell secures 2,500 sqm of warehouse for Farmasi, producer and distributor of cosmetical and hygiene products at CTP, the biggest developer of industrial parks. Farmasi, a turkish company, extended its activity in Romania in 2019. In only one year, Farmasi managed to recruit more than 140,000 sales consultants and maintains its optimism during a time when the recruitment component in HR is dropping fast.
Dunwell, the industrial real-estate agency, has brokered the transaction in which Farmasi, the turkish producer and distributor of cosmetical and sanitary and cleaning products is leasing 2,500 sqm in CTPark Bucharest at km 13 on A1 Highway. The newly rented space will support the fast evolution of Farmasi’s sales at a local level, by streamlining the distribution.
From the new distribution center, Farmasi’s products will be delivered safely and simply to the end users, but also to the sales consultants.
„In April 2019 we entered the Romanian market and our clients’ perceptiveness and also the sales teams’ success made us confident that we are ready to go to the next level on the local market. The actual global framwork requires an even better adapting to safely satisfy our clients’ needs. Thus, we have invested significantly in all business levels, to maintain ourselves in the top trusted companis in the cosmetics industry”, Fatih Gulseren, General Manager Farmasi România states. At the same time, Sinan Tuna, CEO Farmasi, mentions that “Our focus on increased production of antibacterial solutions and the transfer into a safe, cutting-edge warehouse were 2 components that we were able to implement fast. We have noticed their evolution lately and we are confident that our partnership will contribute to their envisaged development, especially taking into consideration that we have delivered ahead of the schedule.”
„Farmasi’s evolution in Romania hs been outstanding. In only one year, they have employed more than 140.000 sales consultants and thus have become the fastest direct-selling start-up. We are happy that they chose Dunwell to identify the best warehousing solution and start this new chapter in Bucharest,” Daniel Cautiș, managing partner Dunwell states. „This is the second cosmetics distributor who closes a deal throught Dunwell during the last 6 months.”
The home-office has become a reality in Romania, but also globally. This is reflected in outsourcing, at a high level, the acquisition of FMCG products online. Obviously, there are challenges to this type of activity – employees do not interact face-to-face with co-workers and collaborators, communication being done by phone, e-mail or video-conferene. But they are adapting and creating at home the necessary conditions for an efficient and prompt fulfilling of their tasks, thus maintaining a discipline in their work, a psichological equilibrium and an optimum efficiency, similarly to working at the office.
The online sales have registered an increase since the benginning of the state of emergency, which led the tenants in the e-commerce to actively analyse warehousing spaces from 1.000 to 10.000 sqm, especially for temporary leases.
According to Dunwell, Western Bucharest is still in the top of most sought after locations. Nevertheless, there is also high interest for the North-West and also for the Nothern or Eastern Bucharest.
