Company data indicates that Impact made a RON 151.7 million turnover in 2008, compared with RON 108.64 million posted in 2007. According to the firm's financial reports, operating income increased by 48 percent in 2008 compared with the previous year, and the firm signed contracts worth EUR 20 million during the year. For the same period of time, operating expenses increased by 56 percent, because of the large volume of construction last year.
Impact projects whose construction started were Bucharest-based Greenfield I, Boreal in Constanta, Roua in Ploiesti, plus Lotus and Europa in Oradea. The firm managed to complete Europa and the three residential complexes Rubin, Topaz and Onix of the Greenfield project.
The Bucharest-based project will add to the 676 apartments and houses delivered as part of its first development stage at the beginning of 2009. Impact officials said that 400 apartments have been contracted so far.
“Our main target in 2009 is to maintain operating efficiency by controlling the administrative costs. At the same time, we are varying the financial solutions for homes and modifying the residential unit projects which are to be delivered in 2009, in order to allow them to be bought at 5 percent VAT,” said Carmen Sandulescu, CFO of Impact.
