IMPACT Developer & Contractor (stock symbol IMP), the first real estate developer in Romania and also the first real estate company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, was designated the most sustainable real estate developer of the year at the Financial Intelligence Awards Gala.

IMPACT Developer & Contractor develops large residential sustainable communities. The group’s efforts have been focusing in recent years on reducing carbon emissions through the design and execution of all developments to nZEB and BREEAM Excellent sustainability standards, alongside the exploitation of renewable energy sources such as the use of geothermal resources, geoexchange technologies, solar and photovoltaic panels and reducing the use of fossil fuels, as part of the implementation of the ESG framework. The direct effect of these measures felt by the residents is translated into the reduction of the property’s maintenance and management costs and the increase of the life quality.

The developer’s portfolio also includes the projects GREENFIELD Băneasa from Capital and GREENFIELD Copou from Iași, both of which are based on the concept of home wellbeing, which implies, in addition to constructions made using materials and technical solutions of the highest standards of quality and durability, a mix of amenities inside the compounds that cover the most important daily needs of the residents in their immediate vicinity, thus reducing the pollution and stress caused by the time spent in traffic.

Thus, the GREENFIELD Baneasa compound, surrounded by over 900 ha of forest, benefits from a community center that includes: commercial spaces, wellness center with fitness room, swimming pools, spa and squash hall, as well as a school and state kindergarten for which the developer has already donated the land and the necessary technical project to the local authorities.

The GREENFIELD Copou project in Iasi, currently in the last stage of authorization, will become the “greenest” community in the entire region of Moldova and will include over 15,000 square meters of green spaces, 533 square meters of commercial spaces, kindergarten and afterschool, wellness center with fitness room and relaxation areas. GREENFIELD Copou is the first IMPACT project that also meets nZEB sustainability criteria.
