Grand Development invests EUR 1 million in a service and facilities centre within Montebello Transylvania Resort

Real estate company Grand Development made the decision to invest one million Euros in the construction of a service and facilities centre within Montebello Transylvania Resort, a project that the company is currently developing neat Brasov following an investment of EUR 12 million. Grand Development was founded and is coordinated by Ionut Nicolescu, after exiting real estate consultant SVN Romania and real estate holding Meta Estate Trust, companies where he was one of the co-founders.

Montebello Transylvania Resort will consist of 47 chalet-style Scandinavian villas, with large, glazed spaces and premium amenities, such as gazebo, jacuzzi, private landscaped gardens and two private parking spaces. The project is located in a 2.6 hectares mountain meadow near Brasov, in the heart of a centuries old forest located within the radius of Cristian and near Rasnov – Poiana Brasov Road, at a distance of 20 minutes from recently inaugurated Brasov International Airport.

The new services and facilities centre will serve the residents and tourists from Montebello Transylvania Resort, providing them with a whole series of leisure options and a wide range of services, such as a restaurant and bistro for serving breakfast, a conference room, SPA, a recovery clinic and also concierge services for catering and supplying services and bookings for sports equipment, as well as property and facility management services.

„We are developing an integrated concept, which will also include leisure options and a multitude of services, thus resulting a product that will address several market segments, from tourists who want to relax in the heart of the forest, to companies that organize various internal and corporate events, managers who need a period of withdrawal and recharge or people who are in a recovery stage. In addition, Brasov will become an increasingly visible option for foreign tourist in the future and we must therefore develop more complex packages of services, at international standards”, stated Ionut Nicolescu, founder Grand Development.

Montebello Transylvania Resort is a reconversion project, being developed on a former site of a brick factory abandoned for over 25 years. Extensive works have been carried out in the last 12 months in order to connect the plot to all utility networks, which were previously several kilometres away from the project. The first phase of the project will be completed in November 2023.
