Golden Tulip Group will bring to Romania four new hotel brands, of two and three stars, through its partnership with French network Louvre Hotels, making its entrance on the “budget” and “economy” segments.

The properties will charge room rates of EUR 25-30 a night. “We will enter on the Romanian market with four new hotel brands that will target the budget and economy segments. We decided to offer low prices because we want to create consolidated solutions and are not focusing on immediate returns. The hospitality market is just establishing itself now, after 2007 and 2008 brought significant yields for the players,” said Paul Marasoiu, regional manager for Romania, Moldavia and Bulgaria of Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts.
