“Our plans for this year involve investments in land. From next year, depending on how the market evolves, we will start the construction of some luxury compounds,” said Singh.
In autumn, 2009, the company plans to start the renovations at the hotel in Borsec, for which Singh estimates a total investment of EUR 5 million. Delta Nature Resort is also negotiating the acquisition of 30 hectares in northern and western Romania.
Delta Nature Resort is owned by Pearl-Ridge Holdings Limited, a Cyprus-based company controlled by British investors. The same investors are shareholders of Copper Beech Invest, managed by Singh. At the end of 2007, the company announced a total investment of EUR 2.5 billion to be spent over the next five years on 17 Romanian projects.
The group started investing in real estate in Romania, but plans to expand to other Eastern European markets as well, according to Singh. Copper Beech Group owns 11 companies active in finance, trade and different construction developments, and plans to expand to 17 companies, according to the group.
