Dedeman stores' increasing contribution to the group's financial results was triggered in part by increasing demand for construction materials.
The group expects at least EUR 200 million in turnover this year from its construction materials stores, and plans to add stores in Bucharest, Constanta and Botosani. Expansion outside Romanian borders is also a target for the near future. Dedeman will expand at a rate of fours store per year in the next couple of years, aiming to reach a 30-unit network in Romania. This year's EUR 35 million planned investments will go on land acquisitions and opening the four planned stores this year.
