Romanian entrepreneur Daniel Guzu, who has made an exit from the Fabryo paint business, has taken over the majority share package in Bau profil from investment fund Oresa Ventures. The Guzu family, Daniel and his wife Irina, had set up Bau profil in 2003 and is at the second deal with the fund, after selling the Fabryo business to the same fund. Bau profil was re-branded under the name Duraziv, which owns the adhesives brand Duraziv and metallic profiles brand Bau profil. The company entered the adhesives market at the beginning of this year following a EUR 7 million investment which went to a factory. Duraziv expects a EUR 9 million turnover for this year, out of which EUR 3 million from adhesives alone, according to Daniel Guzu. The company plans to increase its turnover by up to 7 percent next year, based on the First House and the thermal rehabilitation of old blocks programs.
